Arolla - Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges

This is a beautiful hike that will not leave you indifferent thanks to its breathtaking panorama. From Arolla, you will take a slightly sloping path to reach the Remointse de Pra Gra (2497m). From there, a varied and pleasant path will lead you directly to the Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges (2810m), where you can have a bite to eat and meet the friendly caretaker Bernard Maître, known as "Boum". On the way back, you will have the opportunity to pass by the Lac Bleu and take a refreshing break. The last part of the route will continue on a path with more exposed parts where vigilance will be required, especially in case of slippery ground. The duration of the hike is approximately 5h30 for the return trip or by combining the two routes (Arolla - Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges and Arolla - Lac Bleu - Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges. For a one-way trip, allow about 2h15.
