The Maya Tour
Saint-Martin/Suen
La Maya is the symbol and mountain of St-Martin.
Located on the municipal border on the edge of the Réchy valley, it represents one of the first climbs for the young people of the village.
It is possible to walk around it via the Lovégno pass, the Réchy valley and returning via the A Vieille mountain pasture. This walk takes about 5 hours.
The access roads belong to the mountain pasture consortia.
Please follow the instructions and guidelines of the mountain pasture staff, respect the area, avoid interaction with livestock, close gates and pens behind you, and keep dogs on a leash.
The Réchy valley is a protected site. Mountain biking, camping, and fires are prohibited within the protected area. Dogs must be kept on a leash.
