Rock climbing & overnight stay in a cabin for young people aged 12–17

Val d’Hérens

From 19 Aug 2025 to 20 Aug 2025

Two days of mountain climbing adventure: a hike to an alpine hut, rock climbing, shared meals, a night in a refuge... and the simple pleasure of spending time outdoors in a small group. A sporting adventure that is friendly and accessible to all levels.

What: 2 days of climbing with an overnight stay in a hut.

When: August 19-20.

Price: $250 for 2 days with accommodation and meals.

Location: sport climbing cliffs near the hut in Val D'Hérens (to be determined).

Audience: Young people (12-17 years old)

Program:

Day 1: Walk up to the cabin, rock climbing. In the evening, prepare dinner together in a friendly atmosphere.

Day 2: Tidy up, another climbing session, then descend to the valley. Return scheduled for around 5pm.

Prerequisites: Due to the alpine setting, it is preferable to have already tried climbing at least once indoors or on a cliff, but motivated beginners are also welcome. Participants must be able to walk 1 to 2 hours on the mountain trail with their backpack.

Group size: 4-6 children.

Objectives: During this mini-break, young people will discover or reinforce the basics of rock climbing in an alpine environment. They will also learn how to organize themselves for a two-day outing: managing their equipment, preparing meals together, respecting the mountains, and helping each other within the group.

Climbing equipment rental: $10 per trip/child.

Equipment not included: sleeping bag, personal items. A complete list of equipment to bring will be provided after registration.

Discounts for siblings.

Balanced vegetarian meals, prepared together on site in the cabin.
