Randonnée hiver La Forclaz - Buvette du Tsaté

This hike connects the village of La Forclaz to the Tsaté refreshment bar via a gradual route, taking forest paths and the Bréona road.

The hike starts in La Forclaz (1,700 m), one of the villages known as “Sur les Rocs” in the municipality of Evolène, located on a glacial terrace overlooking Evolène and Les Haudères. The trail first crosses a wooded area before joining the Bréona road, which is used as the ascent route.

The route continues towards the Tsaté mountain pasture, with views of the Dent Blanche, the Dents de Veisivi, the Mont de l'Étoile, and the Arolla valley.

The hike ends at the Tsaté refreshment bar, where you can take a break and enjoy a bite to eat before returning along the same route.
