Chalet La Promenade in La Forclaz near Evolène (Valais, Switzerland), on the balcony of the Val d'Hérens, welcomes you to a grandiose alpine setting from 1750 to 4357 m altitude.
Three ski lifts 70 m from the chalet take you to a refreshment bar at 2200 m; baby lift in the village. A free bus takes you to Evolène's 8 lifts (50 km of pistes) in 10 minutes. Swiss Ski and Snowboard School and sports store in the village.
2 playgrounds of over 1000 m², exclusively reserved for guests of our chalet, 1 and 5 minutes' walk away (photos). Cross-country skiing, skating, tennis and parcours vita 2 km away. Private parking spaces in front of the chalet. Post office stop 50 m away.
New: small 6/3m swimming pool available in summer.
Walks to the Mont-Miné glacier, 2 hours' walk from the chalet, and to the alpine pastures to discover the flora and fauna, medium and high mountain excursions, rock-climbing, ski-touring or snowshoeing, mountain-biking, paragliding... everything is possible. As mountain guides and ski and snowboard instructors, we'll be happy to help you plan and organize your stay.
