Thirteen stars united as one – this powerful symbol of cantonal unity will guide Evolène as it proudly hosts the 71st Cantonal Festival of Traditional Costumes. For one unforgettable day, the village streets will come alive with the rich traditions of Valais. Around thirty folklore groups from all corners of the canton – over 500 performers in traditional dress – will take part in a vibrant parade filled with colour, music, and dancing. From the early morning to late into the night, the village will resonate with the sound of accordions, Alpine horns, and drums. This will be a day of friendship, heritage, and celebration – a true tribute to the Valaisan identity in all its diversity.
