Visit "Village des Haudères and avalanches"

Discover the village of Les Haudères and its built heritage as well as the issues related to the Avalanche hazard.

Evolène, a municipality that has been exposed to avalanches for hundreds of years and was painfully hit in 1999, has learned over time to manage the avalanche phenomenon. This management is now part of its cultural heritage. 

The visit will guide you around the avalanche control facilities in the village of Les Haudères and you will learn how these natural risks are managed. Those Historical buildings and more than a hundred years old will also be visited, such as an old-fashioned flat.

When will it take place? From 3 July to 31 October 2021

Guided tours every Thursday at 10 am
