The chapels of Saint-Martin

Saint-Martin/Suen

The Chapel of the Immaculata
Located in a place called La Tsapelette, between the villages of Suen and Saint-Martin, this building is more than just a chapel: it is entirely dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It is a peaceful place of contemplation, often offering a charming view of the surrounding area. Feel free to take a contemplative break on your way.

The Chapel of Liez
Overlooking the hamlet of Liez, this chapel is a fine example of local religious architecture. Its construction took place over a long period, between 1687 and 1737. Despite its modest appearance, it features characteristics of the Baroque style. Recently restored in 1920 and then in 2018, it remains in excellent condition for the enjoyment of visitors and worshippers alike.

The Chapel of La Luette
Perched in the heart of the mountains, the Chapel of La Luette has a more recent but equally significant history. The foundation work began in 1887. It is dedicated to Our Lady Help of Christians, the one who brings help.
These chapels, each unique, invite you on a journey through the centuries and traditions of Saint-Martin. They are ideal stops for hikers in search of history and serenity.
