The artist Véronique Thiéry-Grenier was born in Paris and currently lives in Strasbourg. She exhibits her paintings in France, Europe, and often in Switzerland.
The exhibition at La Sage, from July 15 to 30, 2023, is devoted entirely to the theme of the mountains, where the artist has frequently stayed, particularly in the Val d'Hérens, for more than 10 years.
It is a question of giving form to emotions experienced at altitude, during hikes in all seasons, from memories of the dawn, of changes in weather, of day or night walks.
The paintings, essentially watercolors on paper, were made from memory in the studio.
They have no geographical identity.
