Kit raclonette
Saint-Martin
Take a Valais tradition into the heart of nature !
What if your hike ended with a delicious raclette picnic in the mountains? With de Saint-Martin Tourisme "kit raclonette", enjoy an authentic gourmet experience surrounded by the unspoilt landscapes of the Val d'Hérens.
Valais is the birthplace of raclette. Here, we distinguish between traditional raclette, melted directly from the cheese wheel, and raclonette, prepared using a tabletop raclette grill with individual pans. Sharing a meal this way is part of our traditions. Today, we invite you to take this tradition with you and enjoy it wherever you choose.
This experience also showcases the expertise of several local partners. The raclette cheese is supplied by the Saint-Martin Dairy, the sausages are prepared by l'Atelier Gourmand, the Ossona wines are provided thanks to the Saint-Martin Sustainable Development Foundation, and La Promenade Crêperie welcomes you to enjoy a drink and slice of pie.
Available all year round for 2 to 8 people, the backpack includes everything you need for a memorable outdoor meal.
- 200g of Saint-Martin raclette cheese per person
- One sausage per person (or extra cheese for vegetarians)
- Bread
- Pickled onions and gherkins
- One 50cl bottle of Ossona wine (Solaris or Divico), or fruit juice for children
- One slice of pie and one drink per person at La Promenade Crêperie
- Raclette grill and all the necessary equipment.
To make the most of the experience, we suggest several walking routes. Follow the Saint-Martin bisse to the peaceful picnic area table awaits you while you listen to the songs of the region's emblematic birds.
Of course, you are free to take your backpack on any hike you choose. Pick your favourite spot and enjoy an unforgettable raclette surrounded by nature.
