Stage description:

From the hut, on the fifth day, the path descends into the sheltered Réchy valley. The landscape is home to numerous plant and animal species typical of the wilderness. Both the geology and the hydrography are remarkable, with torrents, marshes, lakes and a glacier; all that’s missing is you.

The second part of the route runs along the flank of Mont-Noble, returning to the village of Nax through the forest. Perched on a promontory, a spectacular new panorama then opens up before you over the Rhône Valley – the highlight of your journey: where the African and European continents meet! Magical.
