Stage description:
For the 4th stage, you leave the villages of the Val d’Hérens to head up into the mountains. It’s up to you to discover the valley’s various mountain pastures, known for their Hérens cattle and their production of raclette cheese. At Pas de Lona, straddling the Val d’Anniviers and the Val d’Hérens, the final climb towards the Becs de Bosson hut awaits you. The view is spectacular, taking in all the prestigious peaks of the Valais. The most beautiful panorama of the route.
Accommodation on arrival:
Perched at an altitude of 2,985 metres, on the borders of the Val d’Hérens, the Val d’Anniviers and the Vallon de Réchy, the hut offers views of Mont Blanc and the famous 4,000-metre peaks of the Val d’Anniviers, including the Dent Blanche. A warm welcome creates the fondest memories.
