Evolène - Barrage de Moiry

You can reach the Moiry dam in the Val d'Anniviers from the villages of Evolène, Les Haudères or Villa:

From Evolène, take the cross-country ski trail to La Fauchère. This is followed by a relatively difficult one kilometre climb to Villa. After crossing the village, take the path that leads you to the Mayens de Cotter (2058m) and then to the Lac de Béplan (2536m), an ideal place for a picnic break thanks to the simply incredible view of the various summits in the region. A little more effort to reach the Col de Torrent (2916m) and the descent into the Val d'Anniviers to reach the Moiry dam (2127m) via the Lac des Autannes (2686m). The duration of this long hike is about six hours.
 
Reach the Col du Tsaté (2868m) from the village of Les Haudères on an ascent of just over 6km with a difference in altitude of 1400m, passing through La Forclaz and the Remointse du Tsaté (2379m). During this somewhat demanding ascent, you can admire the magnificent Lac du Tsaté. The passage into the Val d'Anniviers is made by a nice descent to the lakes of Bayenna (2548m) and Chateaupré (2349m). You will finish the hike by walking along the entire Moiry dam. The duration of this trip is about six hours.
