Climbing - Saint-Martin

Saint-Martin/Suen

This region currently comprises three very diverse sectors located between 1000 and 2900m altitude. From trad climbing in the cracks of Ossona to the alpine routes of La Maya and the pretty wall of Loveignoz, there's plenty to enjoy!

  • LOVEIGNOZ

A small sector ideal for beginners and families, not far from the alpine refreshment bar at Loveignoz.

Topo Loveignoz

  • Ossona

Surprising cliff with rock that is sometimes compact, sometimes crumbling, dotted with cracks and holes allowing trad climbing on certain routes. 25 routes ranging from 5b to 8a.

  • La Maya

An excellent viewpoint over the valley, this is a real "little race" in the mountains. There are 3 long routes (100m) with a maximum difficulty of 5b, but a good knowledge of climbing is required. Once you reach the summit, the view is breathtaking!

Climbing in natural sites involves risks. Climbers are responsible for themselves and must be able to recognise the dangers associated with the weather, the quality of the rock and the equipment in place. They must be able to ensure their own safety.
