Café-Restaurant La Paix/La Grange

Situated in the heart of the village of Évolène, the Café-Restaurant La Paix – La Grange welcomes you to a venue steeped in history, where the charm of Évolène’s heritage meets hearty, high-quality cuisine.

The restaurant offers two distinct atmospheres: La Paix, with its light-filled veranda and views of the village, the mountains and traditional buildings; and La Grange, with its authentic décor and cosy atmosphere by the fireside.

When it comes to our cuisine, we prioritise high-quality dishes prepared using seasonal produce, with a menu that changes throughout the year.

Among the house specialities, you’ll find beef fillet, rib steak served on Evolène soapstone, truffle tagliatelle, as well as our signature dish: cheese fondue served directly in a loaf of bread.

A gourmet and generous cuisine to discover in a setting typical of Évolénard, combining tradition, a warm, friendly atmosphere and the joy of fine dining.
Off-season: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

High season: closed on Mondays only.
