Evolène - Volovron
From Evolène you can reach Volovron and its traditional mayens (1760m) by taking the forest path not far from the bus stop "Evolène village".
From here, the forest path and the alpine pasture road offer themselves to you in a tranquil atmosphere. On arrival, you will have a superb view of all the peaks of the upper Val d'Hérens and the villages of Evolène and Les Haudères.
The climb takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes and the return journey takes the same route. You can also start your hike from the village of La Sage.
