Café-Restaurant "Le Refuge"

It is in Evolène, a place of authenticity, that you will find the restaurant Le Refuge. A pleasant place to sit on the terrace, facing the sumptuous Dent-Blanche which culminates at 4356m.

Entirely built with noble materials, the café is made of larch wood while the beautiful dining room is made of local aromatic herbs. In the winter garden, a warming sun enters generously through the bay windows.

The cuisine is varied according to the seasons, the cooked dishes are refined, grilled meats, hunting, fish and shellfish are served alongside traditional local dishes, raclette and fondue.
For the little gourmets, outdoor games are available as well as colouring to entertain themselves during the meal.

The Refuge is one of the "saveurs du Valais" restaurants. In the brochure it says:
"Fleur d'Hérens" beef, cheese from Les Haudères and lamb from Evolène are among the regional delicacies showcased in this large chalet with its dining room furnished in pine.
